LEA was retained
by the Town's WPCA to conduct a detailed evaluation of the Townís
existing wastewater treatment facility including its hydraulic capacity,
organic loadings and current operational conditions. Following the
detailed evaluation, LEA prepared a report which recommended additions
and improvements to the plant which included increased settling
and aeration capacity to handle future anticipated sewage flows
and loads; increased digestion capacity to allow longer detention
ties for improved solids reduction; and the installation of a sludge
dewatering unit and other minor modifications to the existing plant
to improve its operational efficiency.

of workmanship required. LEA also provided the following contract
