Loureiro was retained by Colt Gateway LLC to perform construction, remediation and site development on a portion of the multi-million dollar historic site. Loureiro completed soil remediation, which involved primarily petroleum hydrocarbons, in accordance with the Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations (RSR). The polluted soil was remediated to a concentration that was consistent with the Residential Direct Exposure Criteria because of the existence of a school building on the site. This project also included site work consisting of utility installation, paving, walkways, stenciled concrete sidewalks and landscaping. Loureiro successfully completed the remedial activities and site development work conducted on a large portion of this site in two months as planned for the opening day of school on the site. Loureiro was the contractor of choice for this project because of our ability to complete both soil remediation and site development work as one contractor and one point of contact.
