Risk Assessment: • Identify machinery/equipment that has the potential to cause injuries. • Determine compliance status of machines and equipment to the latest machine guarding standards.
• Develop a numeric risk ranking for each machine or process that considers present control reliability
Engineered Solutions: • Work directly with your engineering, manufacturing, safety and maintenance personnel to design appropriate and effective machine guarding solutions • Solve difficult problems related to guarding implementation without affecting production output
• Develop and present general and/or machine-specific guarding solutions • Design, fabrication, implementation of custom designed solutions.
• Specify and supply materials, hardware and/or safety system components.
• Provide installation and startup services.
Management Systems: • Develop and implement machinery/equipment inspection programs.
• Train machine operators in proper use and maintenance of guarding solutions. • Train maintenance personnel in the proper adjustment and maintenance of guarding solutions. • Train inspection personnel to implement an effective machinery/equipment inspection program. • Develop and implement an effective LOCKOUT/TAGOUT program specific to your equipment/facilities.
• Develop and implement process-specific audit and assessment programs. • Develop and implement "visual" programs for self-audit on the manufacturing floor.
Design Review Due Diligence:
Work with your engineering, facilities, manufacturing, and acquisition personnel to identify, eliminate and/or expense machinery and equipment hazards before they are purchased or acquired.
