(LEA), is a growing employee owned (ESOP) engineering consulting firm located in Plainville, Connecticut, with additional offices in New Hampshire and Rhode Island. LEA's areas of expertise provide a comprehensive range of integrated engineering services including civil and site engineering, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, water and wastewater engineering, environmental permitting and assessments, soil and groundwater remediation, health & safety programs, EH&S compliance training and industrial hygiene services, solid and hazardous waste management, land surveying, construction management, and energy services.

Project Manager (Environmental)- Plainville, CT Office

Projects will involve the phased investigation of contaminated sites and the development of remedial action and approaches that address soil, soil vapor, groundwater, indoor air, surface water and sediment.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify prospective clients and in conjunction with senior management, proposal submission.
Assign duties to the project team while monitoring progress and checking for accuracy and completion.
Manage project scope and budget and maintain a high level of communication throughout projects to ensure changes are communicated and accepted by the client.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Geology/Hydrogeology.
7+ years of experience in the field with 3 or more years as a Project Manager.
Familiarity with project management and accounting software a must.
An advanced degree and/or a professional accreditation or license a plus.

Geologists/Engineers/Scientists-Plainville, CT Office

Key Responsibilities:
Performance of field sampling
Data Management
Reporting on Site Investigation and remediation Projects
Preparation of technical drawings and permits
Completion of regulatory compliance audits
Implementation of Health and Safety practices
Development of technical proposals

Requirements:
BS degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Engineering
0-8 years experience

Project/Senior Project Engineer/Geologist - Plainville, CT Office

Key Responsibilities:
Performance of field sampling.
Data Management
Reporting on site investigation and remediation projects.
Preparation of technical drawings and permits.
Completion of regulatory compliance audits.
Development of technical proposals.

Requirements:
BS degree in Environmental Engineering or Geology.
5+ years of experience in engineering design of projects in their area of expertise.
